You do not need a race licence to enter or race but
B.C. points are available and there are many other benefits
of which you can

Dan Jarvis, famous for his Fort William World Cup commentary, will be
keeping the crowds entertained.
Many of you will know Dan as notorious in the biking world and, as he is
one of Britain’s top mountain bikers and a professional commentator, we
know the event will be packed with entertainment.
Practice
We’re offering eight hours of practice on Saturday
and two hours on Sunday morning. Also, the Extreme Medics
will be on hand all weekend.
Relaxed Atmosphere
Some of you may have been on the uplift weekends
that Borderline Events, run by Mike Marsden (Race
Organiser), have organised over the years and we
will be bringing the same relaxed feeling to our
race weekend.
What else?
Ever get bored after practice on the Saturday when
mother nature has turned the lights out?
We’ve got that
covered. As this will probably be the last race of the season
we will be looking
at having a bit of a party atmosphere with hopefully
a bar and D.J. or at least music and maybe even a
big old fire.
However, the night will quiten down by midnight
so that those wanting to race hard on the Sunday
can get a peaceful nights’ sleep.
How many are racing?
There will be 250 spaces on a first come first served
basis and then a further 50 spaces available to
expert riders, elite riders and team managers inviting
their riders to race.
Are there uplifts?
There never seems to be enough time to practice,
but to make it run more smoothly we will have 12
tractors for the Saturday and maybe less, depending
on demand, on Sunday.
How much does it cost then?
It all costs £53.00 for the weekend.
With an all-day
practice on Saturday, then two hours of practice on Sunday,
followed by two timed race
runs, this will make it extremely good value for
money.
